More Local Attractions Silver City and the homes nestled within Mineral Kin, provide a window to the mining history of the Sierra Nevada. During April to Mid June, the Kaweah River provides exhilarating whitewater rafting experiences. With rapids grading from the adrenaline pumping Grade 5 down to beginners level Grade 2 rapids, the whitewater season provides excitement for everyone. Jazz Festival-During April, Three Rivers is host to an international Jazz Festival. With Jazz events at various locations around town - at indoor and outdoor venues, the Jazz Festival is a favorite with visitors to Three Rivers. Art - Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and with Three Rivers home to a diverse array of artists, there is sure to be something pleasing to you. Visit an artists studio or one of the local galleries to see various mediums ranging from sculpture to jewelry to furniture to painting - traditional and non traditional styles. Reimers Candy Store is a must-do to satisfy a sweet tooth with delicious chocolates and ice creams to enjoy. Reimers exports many of it's products overseas and in addition to candy treats, also sells many European style Christmas decorations and year-round European delicacies. Take time to stop by The Cabin - a gourmet coffee ,shop which offers a great place to unwind on a the patio overlooking the river, whilst enjoying a hot or cold beverage.
