More Local Attractions South Fork Drive - Take a scenic drive along South Fork Drive. This drive weaves through the foothills and ends at the Ladybug Trail. This is a walking trail popular with locals and is also an entrance into an area of the National Park. Enjoy not only the scenery, but the abundant bird life and flora. Lake Kaweah - situated just two miles outside of Three Rivers, Lake kaweah is a popular place for fishing, boating, and an array of watersports. High water is a during may to Mid August. Surrounded by the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, Lake kaweah is a scenic and relaxing place to enjoy the water. Exeter - Located approximately 30 minutes drive West of Three Rivers (close to Visalia), Exeter is a small town with a nice array of shops, particularly antique and art shops, and the shops have something to suit everyone's taste.
